English

Abstract

Comprehensive economic sanctions and military threats have caused structural disruptions to Iranian families’ livelihood patterns. In such contexts, optimal family capital management is a strategic imperative for national resilience. As direct managers of household economics, women play a pivotal role in implementing a resistance economy at the family level. This research aims to explain principles of correct consumption planning by women under sanctions and war conditions, extracting an operational framework for resistant family management. Using a descriptive-analytical method, this study draws upon Islamic sources and family financial management research. Findings indicate that five principles—identifying real needs, prudent livelihood planning, moderation, prioritizing expenses, and contentment—serve as the pillars of a resistant family economy. Implementing these principles enables savings, financial independence, and raising a generation resistant to consumerism, thereby strengthening the nation’s social and economic capital during hybrid warfare
